“Worth many return trips”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

This restaurant is definitely off the beaten path but well worth the search for it. The food is always great and the friendly staff can't be beat. The pulled pork is so tender it melts in your mouth. If you want ribs on Saturday night, you have to reserve them ahead of time so apparently they are good too. I've never had them because the pulled pork BBQ tastes just like ribs. If you're there in good weather, sit outside for an close view of small planes taking off and landing right in front of you. There is a small runway to provide entertainment for kids and adults alike. Homemade desserts wait for you too -- if you have room after everything else!

“Tasty Barbeque”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

Visited recently on a Saturday early evening and the place was already hopping but we were seated promptly inside, opted for inside because it was a warm afternoon but there were several tables available outside as well. Pulled pork was good and had the large serving so there was plenty of it along with baked beans and cole slaw and corn muffin. We also shared a piece of home made peanut butter pie and it was outstanding. Prices are fair and service is very good, waitress was friendly, outgoing and attentive. Would definitely go again and recommend to friends. They do not take credit cards though, there is an ATM available and it's 2.50 to use it. They Take local checks and cash so best to be prepared. It's interesting spot to right at the little airport so you can enjoy small planes coming and going while dining.

“Local place we take visitors for Pulled Pork Bar B Que”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

Small place that is almost always packed serving smoked pork made right there. It is also on the side of a municipal airport. It is not uncommon to see small military planes and helicopters there for lunch. It's all good and the can serve it to go and we have done that before as well.

“great BBQ”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

I think the BBQ is very good for Moore county and enjoy going there to eat. The portions could be larger but the food is good.

“Down Home Carolina Barbecue and Atmosphere”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

We had a couple of Coronas with hushpuppies, cornbread, chicken, brisket and ribs on a warm spring evening while watching small aircraft come and go. The highlight, other than the friendly service and delicious, reasonably priced food, was watching the Coast Guard helicopter take off.
