“Meh”

Went to glass half full to celebrate my Uncle's birthday and it was just not as great as I had remembered. The wine selection is fabulous as always, but the food was just OK. I got the risotto, which was oddly tasteless and at the same time too spicy. Not sure how they achieved that. The charcuterie was nice, but nothing to write home about, and soup was nice, but all in all, just not that great of a meal for the price. I still like the ambience and how they leave you alone to eat and talk, but the food was nowhere near what it has been in the past.

“Outstanding!”
Reviewed September 2, 2012 via mobile

Wow....if an outstanding dining experience is what you desire...look no further the A Glass Halfull . The menu is a collection of imaginary dishes so well prepared and presented that you will long remember the delight of each dish....the desserts are rich, exotic ...flavorful explosions...the wine selections diverse...well priced....and if you wish to explore their enormous wine shop which is attached...the selections become exponential..the staff is vibrant...engaged and fun. Just down the road from Raleigh...truly a place to relax and enjoy great food...and recharge!

“Good vegetarian options”
Reviewed July 26, 2012

I love tapas, because the portions are much more in line with what a person should actually be consuming during a meal. We went to Glass HalFull for our anniversary, and were not disappointed. It's busy in a happening type of way, not a chaotic or noisy way. It's also romantic and classy. Excellent wine and a few vegan options make for a happy me.

“Good Food, Good Wine, Good Times”
Reviewed July 22, 2012

This place has delicious tapas style food and an excellent wine selection; I thought the portion sizes were great as far as tapas go... my friend and I split a 3 dishes, and it was perfect. The server was happy to recommend a tasty wine for us and provided excellent service! I enjoyed the local shrimp terrine, the crab mac n cheese, and the 1855 skirt steak.. yum yum! I will be bringing my husband back here soon :)
