Hotel very dated. OK location but walking to beach and back not feasible! They had a pond in the back that looked like more of a swamp (hotel employee said there are snakes in it) Well, due to rain it overflowed and they have some kind of overflow system that is so noisy and when you ride the elevator is is down right creepy as all you can hear in elevator is water swishing. Needless to say, we did NOT want to take the elevator with all that going on. Employee said drainage system below elevators but noise so bad felt like in them. Would NOT stay here again. Also the bar in shower fell off and you could see all the gunk and filth accumulated on the edges of it...YUK For a Wyndham hotel, this is definitely lacking the quality I have previously found in Wyndhams

The hotel was neat and clean and our first floor room was perfect. The bed were comfortable and had plenty of pillows. Breakfast was good & included hardboiled eggs. The staff is what makes this hotel really stand out. GM Trish was delightful & so was Robert. The rest of the staff was extremely friendly and offered great advice on area restaurants (sorry I didn't get everyone's names). The pool area was immaculate and having coffee/tea/lemon water/hot cocoa available any time of day was a nice touch. I would absolutely stay here again.

Room Tip: We stayed on the first floor right by the pool and it was perfect.

Upon arrival the staff was friendly and quickly checked us in. The hotel was clean upon entrance although a bit outdated, at least clean. The pool area was also clean but the chairs are old, dirty, and worn out. Upon entry to our room it appeared clean but we quickly learned that our fridge didn't work, the shower curtain rod was broken so it didn't keep the water out and was a mess, the mirror behind both beds was filled with dust and the carpet was soaked!!! (Like really bad, not just damp). The manager was already gone so the following morning I addressed the manager who was short with me but offered two solutions. Because I didn't want to spend $300 plus tax for one night and have to move we opted to be moved to a different room. The manager was defensive about things but did take care of it. We moved and things were better in the prototype room (no carpet). Overall, the price reflects the quality. Only good thing was comfort of beds. The breakfast has NO protein options (not even yogurt or hard boiled eggs that most simple continental breakfasts offered) so that made it difficult for my family and we ended up eating elsewhere. I will not go back and will not recommend to others. Front staff was friendly beyond manager as well.
