I've been to the Sea Witch 6 or 7 times. The food has always been great. They have the best " wings" on the island. If you like it spicy, try their Honey Habanero Wings. Large outdoor area with lights around the palm trees. Live bands on the weekends with large dance floor. Great place to just have fun!!

Thank Ray C

Even though CB has been an old haunt there have been several things that has prevented me from visiting the Sea Witch. 1. The name brings up visions of hags from the sea (I want babes not hags--free advice..change the name to Atlantic Babe); 2. It has appeared to be pretty run down in the past--I recall just two years earlier popping my head in the ole Sea Witch and watching a family of gluttons pounding down some sort of spaghetti with bright orange sauce (that image will stick with a person for some time, believe it or not); 3. During said glutton vision, there seemed to be 5x flies to people.

Now here we are in 2012 and the Sea Witch is #5 in the CB restaurant list. What gives? The answer follows. The Sea Witch is a combination of a Key West and Myrtle Beach joint that is located half in- and half out-of-doors. It makes you think you are not at CB. They even have palmettos wrappend with rope lights. That is how cool this place is. It is a bar and restaurant with a live band--at least on weekends. Wife had a crab cake sandwich and I had the fish and chips--both excellent. And the onion rings are very very good. They did not have hushpuppies. They did have a big beer menu. We'll be back.

We live in CB and frequent the SeaWitch regularly, especially in the off season, because it is a great spot. We were Disappointed when we stopped by for dinner at 8 one night and there was a $5 cover for the band. We said we just wanted dinner and they still charged us. We passed several open tables and went to the hostess stand and she said the wait was 1 hour. We were starving, left went to Havana's for a great meal.

We came for the good reviews. The food was good, but our server did not explain the menu well. Some of the Market Price items were quite expensive. $24 for tuna added to a salad that was already $9 seemed high. I would not go back if we were in the area again.
