For the first time in months, I was able to relax and feel completely at peace. The view was beautiful and the owners do an excellent job maintaining the property and ensuring guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay.

I spent two cool mornings on the deck of the Looking Glass cabin reminiscing about my time spent at a nearby summer camp. It was me, a cup of coffee, sunrise beginning to light up the mountain across the way and that aromatic, cool breeze you can only get in the Blue Ridge. WOW. I wasn't even that bothered by the morning traffic noise that was beginning to filter up the hill.

The cabin was clean and comfortable for two people. Both the bedroom bed and pullout from the couch provided a good nights sleep. There were nightlights to help you find your way at 3 a.m. without having to turn on the main lights. The kitchen appeared functional, though there is not much counter space. We were not planning to do any cooking anyway.

Both Gretchen and Sheryl are very friendly and hospitable hosts.

You do have to look carefully for the sign/driveway. It is pretty much across the road from the KOA sign.

My family and I (inc dog) stayed at the Balsam Cabin - it was very nice and comfortable. The bed (Kingsize) was one of the most comfortable I have slept on! The deck was great for a bbq and chilled glass of something in the evenings. The cabin had everything we needed and the owners were very accommodating esp re our dog. Would definitely recommend it to other people.

We stayed at Mt. Mitchel cabin with our 3 kids. It was the perfect spot. The cabin was large enough for all 5 of us and the porch was great for relaxing and watching the kids role down the hill. The grounds in front of the cabin gave us plenty of space to run, play frisbe and catch. The cabin itself was very clean and well equipped. We used the grill both nights.

What a wonderful place- our Cherokee Cabin was very comfortable - wish we had longer to enjoy it. A quick drive takes you to downtown Asheville, the Biltmore, or to a hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Gretchen and Sheryl were great hosts. The morning breakfast delicious! Spa services were fair.

Room Tip: Could hear the highway from our cabin

My wife and I just returned from our trip in Asheville and we are very glad that we stayed at Honey Hill.
The cabin was perfect, nothing you could ask for, and even better, pet friendly.
The owners were very helpful, and very friendly.
I would go back in a heartbeat and will recommend it to anyone going to Asheville.

With another couple we spent three nights in the Mt. Mitchel Cabin. It was nicely finished, very clean, and fully equipped. Gretchen and Sheryl left us an elaborate "continental breakfast," more than we could eat. The location allows one to visit the Biltmore House at leisure with two day tickets purchased from the owners. The Mansion is beautifully decorated in keeping with its history. Truly, a delightful place.

Room Tip: Each bedroom and bath in the lodge is elegant. Our cabin suited us as we wanted to be with our frie...
