“Nice lunch, slower pace”
Reviewed September 1, 2008

We did lunch here after hitting the Cape Hatteras lighthouse during a weekday. They seem to have a limited lunch menu with no specials. We had seafood wraps and they were absolutely wonderful. It had a nice salsa. The pace seemed to be slow even though they weren't busy (that seems to be the OBX way).

I would recommend it, but I was hoping for more seafood specials. I would have liked to try it for dinner.

Had dinner here on a Saturday night and the food was excellent! Everyone had something different - Red snapper, Tilipia, Shrimp and Swordfish. Everything was fixed perfect, great presentation, taste, good side choices. Simply delicious - salsas for the fish were incredible. Prices are about what you expect for a good seafood dinner. We highly recommend this place for their fabulous food and friendly and efficient service! Will go there everytime we are on the island!

“Restaurant is good; try the Seafood Market”
Reviewed July 8, 2007

This is a combination Restaurant and their newly opened Seafood Market.

We had a good breakfast at the restaurant and received a card for 10 percent off dinner. I had the breakfast buffet, which is only available on Sat and Sun. My husband ordered from the menu. A good selection on both the buffet and the menu for reasonable prices.

For the budget conscious (like us), we ordered from the Seafood Market for dinner. The Market will steam the shrimp and crabs for an extra $1 or $1.50. So a pound of steamed shrimp, which we ate in our Falcon Motel efficiency room, was about $8 -- cheap eats for two people! Order a side of hush puppies from Sooey's, Finnegan's or even Buoy's and you've got a meal.
