Description: Cafe Pamlico provides a world class casual fine dining experience through exceptional food, outstanding detail oriented service, an inspired wine and cocktail program, and gracious attentive Southern hospitality. Our contemporary coastal cuisine is driven by locally sourced seafood, meats, and produce. Our menu changes frequently in accordance with the fresh ingredients our chefs discover on the island, most notably the fresh local seafood we feature. We are committed to supporting local farmers and artisan food producers first, sustainable resources second, and organic third. Reservations are highly recommended.

We have passed by for years, always saying that we'd like to try it. We finally did and glad! Dinner was excellent. We didn't have reservations but had a table with a wonderful view. The chowder was exceptional. Would definitely recommend and return.

Eight of us went to Cafe Pamlico for the view, but we were very impressed with the food. Several members of our party ordered the risotto and they all raved about it. The shrimp and grits, tuna, and crab cake entrees were also excellent. The service was attentive, pleasant and well-paced. Our sever was very eager to please without being intrusive. Complete your evening with a walk along the pier...the view is terrific...we will be back and are now interested in a stay at the Inn. The owner came and chatted with us after our walk along the pier, which we very much appreciated.

One lovely dinner: perfect food, nice staff.
Sitting outside looking on the sound we enjoyed dinner and the sight of a thunderstorm up north.

The restaurant offers a smaller menu of fresh items with a wide variety of items, so the food is at its best and not being pulled out of freezer. Portions are good and over a week of dining the kitchen were on their game every night - no small feat. Personal favourite, Shrimp and Grits.

The Inn on Pamlico Sound is a B&B, and I'm here to tell you that the 3 course breakfast is amazing. Dinner for our event was prepared by Café Pamlico, and it was truly a gourmet delight! The choices! The preparation! It was all so good.
