Searching for an open restaurant on a stormy March evening, we came upon Pop's. A bar takes up the center of the room with several tables around the perimeter. The bar was occupied by many locals. We sat at a table with stools, not chairs. We were greeted by a friendly waitress and served drinks immediately. The food was very good--raw oysters, fried oysters, scallops, very lightly fried shrimp, cole slaw. The crab cake was the only disappointment. The atmosphere was fun and we didn't mind the plastic serving pieces. Prices were reasonable and a good value. We would return if in the area again.
