Yella Bird (formerly Yardbird) Kitchen is one of the very few options in the Burlington - Elon area for Sunday brunch, unless you want to eat at one of the chain restaurants.
Everything on the menu sounded great. My friend opted for the shrimp and grits ($12.50) and I chose the homemade corned beef hash with poached eggs ($8.50). Both dishes were very good and came in generous portions.
Due to its being parents weekend at Elon University, the serving staff was a bit overwhelmed by the number of customers, but kept smiling. One must commend them for the effort.
I will definitely try this restaurant again.
