“Such a wonderful place to spend time with your family”
Reviewed March 9, 2012

We stayed at the Lands Creek Lodge back in October and had one of the best vacations ever! The owners Robin and Sue were fantastic and always available to help or suggest a great restaurant if you should decide to leave the property. We never really wanted to go off site, but when we did we were always excited to get back and hang out by the fireplaces. There is no place like it and once you stay there no other place quite compares. We look forward to our next visit!

My Wife and I stayed at Lands Creek and everything was perfect! The owners show great hospitality, are very friendly, and easy to work with! The cabins are immaculate! and beautifully decorated! The hot tubs and bathrooms were crystal clean, (something my wife is very picky about!) WE Strongly recommend Lands Creek Log Cabins, we will be back for sure!!!

We visited Lands Creek in October last year and had an extremely pleasant experience. We arrived a little later in the evening and our cabin had been opened for our arrival, with the heat and lights turned on to welcome us! It is a beautiful, peaceful place, and we had a wonderful time cooking dinner over our campfire and roasting smores. We played down by the stream, tossed some football and read a lot - it was a great experience, and just how a mountain weekend should be!

The owners of Land Creek Cabins are very friendly and attentive to the renters needs. We stayed in the Coyote Cabin. It was wonderful. The cabin was laid out well, beds were very comfortable and it was very clean. It comoftably housed all 5 of us, two adults and three teen boys. Outside of our cabin was a fire pit and a hot tub. Our youngest couldn't wait to take advantage of the hot tub. The hot tub was very well maintained and need I say ...relaxing. We took advantage of the fire pit every night and on one night roasted marshmallows and made samores. The fire pit overlooked a ravine. The property is very well maintained and clean. The cabins are about 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Bryson City and about 20 minutes from the Deep Creek portion of the Smoky Mountains. Bryson City is a quaint and very friendly community. While exploring Bryson City I highly suggest you stop into "Cork and Bean" for a crepe and a cup of coffee or in the late afternoon/ early evening for a glass of wine. We ate there twice during our trip and both times the food and service were excellent; even my picky eater loved this place. Oh and they even have gluten free crepes, a plus for me. The Deep Creek portion of the Smoky Mountains is beautiful and a great place to spend a beautiful fall day. There are three waterfalls and numerous trails. Some of the trails however are very strenuous so be prepared if it looks like the trail is going up the side of a mountain, it is. As for the three wateralls, the Tom's Branch Falls is visible across Deep Creek, 0.2 miles from the parking lot this is an easy walk. If you continue for about a half mile along Deep Creek, crossing a bridge you will come to Indian Creek a bit further down on your left, this is an easy to moderate walk. Back at the parking lot, on the right is a sign and trail leading to Juneywhank Falls, which is about 0.3 miles up the side of a mountain which is a moderate to strenuous short hike. This fall can also be reached via a trail and is a moderate to strenuous hike from within the park.

We had our family reunion here last weekend. Had rented 2 creekside cabins and the lodge. Robin was easy to work with during our planning stage and made us feel at home when we arrived. The lodge was gorgeous! Private area right on the creek. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch. The lodge was large enough to be the center of activity and have all 25 of us to enjoy meals together. We went ziplining, rafting and tubing over the 3 days. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be back!

Room Tip: All the rooms were comfortable.

From the moment I spoke to Robin, I felt like I had made a new friend. His personality was warm, friendly and accommodating. He asked about the type of cabin I was looking for and he worked with me to find one on the grounds to suit my needs and dates.

Once we arrived he met our party with a smile and he offered true southern hospitality.

He showed us all the amenities of the Lodge House or as the "Big House" as we called it, And it was simply AMAZING. The word for the weekend was WOW. The Lodge House had every amenity you could think of...and I mean every one! We were only there for the weekend, but we're already thinking of reasons to come back.

Robin even invited us to one of jam sessions that he did with his band over at the on site recording studio on the property. Great music and a first class recording studio.

One other plug...before we came up, I asked Robin for a local recommendation for bakery to get a birthday cake as we were celebrating for the weekend. Without hesitation Robin suggested an Amish bakery on Everett Street in downtown Bryson City. The name is: Stoltzfus Bread Basket, ([--]).
David Stoltzfus actually delivered the delicious cake to the cabin to our surprise!

Whether your party has 3-4 people or a larger 6-7 or 12+ DEFINITELY call Lands Creek Log Cabins. Robin will make you feel at home.
