We planned this as a motorcycle trip with another couple. We called a few days prior for reassurance that we could reach the cabin on motorcycles with no issues. The answer was yes, just watch for loose gravel. Well evidentially they were talking about dirt bikes because thats how we had to ride our Harleys to reach the cabin. The road was a steep gravel road that wound round and round and the drive to Falling Waters was a right-handed hairpin turn...treacherous! But we made it. A car would be more suitable for travelling to the cabin.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a swinging screen door. It was a throwback to my childhood and I loved the sound of it. The living area was spacious a plenty and the kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to prepare our meals. The bedrooms were warm and cozy with rustic furniture and down bedspreads and pillows. The beds were very comfortable as well.
Outside was a fire pit, gas grill, charcoal grill and on the huge porch thee was a hot tub.
. You are far enough away from it all yet the grocery store and things to do were only minutes away.I cannot wait to go back. I would definitely recommend this as a wonderful couples getaway!
