We had a terrific dinner here. Great price for soup, salad, entrée, dessert. You leave full for sure. And, love the atmosphere as the woodland inn, large fireplace, and old time ambience is great to experience. Service was good, food great. We will be back!

Food is servered family style and is pretty good, however, should be outstanding for the price. Again the Inn is old and has historical appeal, and is very nice in the colder months with the fireplace going.

Loved the historic, old world atmosphere but the food was just fair. The trout (best part of the meal) was tasty but overcooked. The okra & green broad beans were listless. Mashed potatoes passable. Shortbread had pretty good flavor. Service was fine. Very relaxing environment and its interesting to check out some of the memorabilia. The overall experience is rather unique, the food just not that great.

I enjoyed my prime rib dinner at the Fryemont (part of the lodging package), which I ate by the fireside on a wild and stormy night. The same waitress was friendly and helpful both at dinner and breakfast, the latter providing an appetising start to the day. The bar experience was also good with a knowledgeable barman and good local beer. I would recommend eating at the Fryemont Inn even if not staying there.

This is a great old lodge with a warm, friendly atmosphere. We had one of several of the trout dinners. The portions were generous and the food excellent. Soup, salad and dessert were included as well as three different side dishes served family style. A lot of really good food for a very reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff.
