I visited the Cork and Bean 3 years ago and enjoyed the crapes and wine.
Yesterday I discovered they expanded, dinning room- restaurant. It was clean and pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive to our questions and needs throughout the entire meal.

The menu was good and somewhat limited, our appetizer mussels and scallops was cooked to perfection, tasty and satisfying portion. Trout was selected by the three of us and we all raved about it being top notch!

“Excellent food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2014

We were delighted with the food and overall experience at the Cork and Bean. We especially loved the baked dates and the chicken pesto crepes. They were superb! The atmosphere was charming and the service excellent. Who knew one of the best dining experiences of our entire vacation would be in this excellent restaurant in the tiny town of Bryson City.

“down to earth”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 9, 2014

This place not only looks down to earth with its all wooden carved decor, but so is the staff and the food. Organic natural food is served here. Came on a sunday they had a brunch menu and a potato cake as a special side which was amazing. Great food and amazing service Ill be going back here again to try out their other menus

“Great Atmosphere”

Havent been in since they expanded, but the coffee is great. The atmosphere and décor are really nice, its kind of a modern/rustic feel. Ron and the staff are great.

“Dry food but fabulous atmosphere ”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2014 via mobile

LOVE the atmosphere, but really dislike the food. The space and feel you get when your their is amazing, but the food has a lot to be desired. Everything seems dry from the blah chips to dry bread to the dry meat in the burger. I do like their specials sometimes and their soups and bisques are really good. They really need to get new chips, normal fries or at least bring back the sauce they first served them with and a bit more fat in the burger (we think it's too lean and that's why it's so dry) Do not get the grilled cheese sandwiches! Even the child's version was bad...1 piece of cheese semi melted in crispy dry bread. I hope the owners read this and take it to heart, I'd eat here every week if the food was better because I really do like being there.
