Description: We are a family owned and operated all American steak and seafood restaurant that specializes in hand pattied beef, buffalo, and elk burgers, hand cut steaks, and fresh seafood. Since we opened in 1978 in Tampa Florida by my father, we have been believers in keeping things fresh, fairly priced, and family friendly.

Had to wait before we were greeted by the hostess. The food was fresh and tasty. Salads were very fresh with homemade croutons and pickled green beans. Dressings were good. Crab cakes were late and very good. Hamburgers were very large. Many tourist from Florida in this area!

Ate there today. WON'T go back. Cockroache came walking by my food. I killed it gave it to the waitress suggested she tell her boss he has a problem and her comment back was "YEA, they are exterminating at ACE hardware and they ALWAYS come over here"
Needless to say, WRONG answer!!!! They just blowed it off like yea it happens all the time. GROSS! COCKROACHES ARE NASTY! If they are crawling on my table where else are they???

We go here whenever we want a buffalo burger. Nice people, good service, and fun. It's right in the middle of town, so you can stop by while touring the area.

Went there on the evening of 07/18/13 on a recommendation from our hotel clerk. We came in the door behind a group of 4 elderly people. They sat down on a pew and waited for a table. We stood at the door and waited for a table also. Unfortunately we were never seated nor were the other group in front of us after 20 minutes so we left. There were 3 waitresses and they all walked past us several times, glared at us on several occasions and ignored our wait. I could understand having to wait at the door for an open table, but we could easily see 5 open and clean tables available. It did not make sense that us and the other group in front of us were having to wait on a table when we could see 5 clean and ready tables in the front of the restaurant. I'm sure there were more available in the back of the restaurant as well. As we were waiting for a table, we could hear other patrons complaining about missing items that they had ordered. One poor guy never got his food but the rest of his party did. We left and went to Anthony's Italian over by the train station and were immediately seated and waited on even though they were busy. The impression that we got from Jimmy Mac's was that the waitresses didn't want to take any more tables for the afternoon and that is why they continued to ignore us and the other people in front of us. They even asked the other group "how many" guests they had in their party 3 times, but never sat them at a table in the 20 minutes that we were there. So, my advice to you would be don't go there if you don't have a lot of time to wait, are hungry when you get there, or expect good service or hospitality.

Had the best Bleu Burger I think I have ever eaten! We got there as soon as they opened and had no wait, but shortly after people were lined up out the door. They defintely need more staff. The lady that served us was still pleasant even though you could tell she felt bad for waiting guest. Great cole slaw and fries. Had a lot of choices. Said around us that Po Boy's were delicious as well. Enjoy!
