Just peering in the door of the Courtyard Café will show you an older crowd of nicely dressed women out for a ladies lunch. They were able to handle our group of twenty-two at the same time that almost all the other tables were full. That means the noise level was high so maybe it's not the best place for a quiet chat. The wait staff really hustles and service was excellent. I had a trout sandwich which was very good. It had a dressing and melted cheese that made it impossible to eat with my hands; I finally laid it open and picked up my fork and knife. There were three side choices. The spinach salad looked better than my fruit "salad" which consisted only of orange wedges and pineapple chunks. Several salad entrees were deemed great, as well as the quiche and the soups. The real "ooohs" (and laughter) came with the appearances of the $5 desserts. They are enormous and four of us shared one. Located off the main drag further up Main Street, past the Post Office on the ground floor of the Inn on Main.
