A friend and I have been wanting to try this place for months and the opportunity finally presented itself. The owners have taken a nasty BBQ place and given it new life! It is immaculately clean with a colorful but tasteful Mexican theme...although Quixote was Spanish... but that's not the point. Its like green tablecloths, polished pewter chargers and napkin rings are a pleasant greeting as is the staff. We were graciously greeted and seated and while they might be a bit over welcoming, that is far better than being ignored or brusquely served.

The menu is traditional Mexican cooking. It isn't TexMex or Taco Bell. It is slightly elevated home cooking in a pleasant atmosphere.

The selection of margarita and Mojito offerings are within the current trend of flavors and are well made and presented. A bit light on the alcohol, but a nice offering. We enjoyed a lovely shrimp dish in a tamarind flavored sauce that had just the right amount of heat to compliment the shrimp but not take away from its delicacy. The bistecca poblano was so traditional in its flavor, it brought me back to Mexico! The corn laced with poblano chilis was a nice side. We decided to order the Mole enchiladas as an afterthought. Their mole was very, very good! It was well balanced with the right combination of head and spice and creaminess... if you are a mole fan, this is some of the best we've eaten.

Low key, well priced and very friendly...we look forward to dining here again!

Based on the reviews read on Trip Advisor, my husband and I decided to see what Quixote was all about - and the reviews where right! We were instantly charmed with the entrance and decor. The service was excellent with the waiter taking the time to explain the dishes we were interested in to us. We tried the chorizo appetizer and found it to be very tasty. I recommend to mole - it was just the right combination of spicy and sweet. Definitely not your "run of the mill" Mexican food!

Quixote opened last fall. Tried it after about a week but due to unexpectedly large crowds, service was not the best. Reviewed comments on Tripadvisor and figured it was time to give the Q another chance. Good decision. Went for dinner on a weekday and the owner came out with a sample of his sopa of the day for us to try. Delicious. Marianne, then attended to our needs throughout the
experience. Atmosphere was much improved over the prior establishment. Will definitely be
back.

We finally had a chance to visit Quixote this past week. I had the best mole dish since eating mole in San Miquel de Allende. The owners have done a fabulous job of converting what was a creepy, dark restaurant, with a bad vibe, into a delightful atmosphere, where dining is a pleasure. It also helps that the wait staff is eager to please and greet patrons with a smile. We chose to return the next evening, just so our taste buds could sample another dish. We were not disappointed. A wonderful addition to the Brevard dining scene.

Third time back to Quixote's last night... what fun !
Our party loved the Chicken Mole, a Grilled Pork salad and Chicken Tamarindera, accompanied by broccoli soups and fresh guacamole.
Quixote raises the bar well above run-of the mill Tex-Mex -- these dishes are of high quality ingredients and very tasty. Topped off the evening with a coffee flan... (Caution -- most likely addictive.)
This is a lovely restaurant that won't break the bank. Well done !
