Based on positive reviews of Vidalia we tried them out and will confirm all positive reviews. Food quality excellent, presentation as well... overall value excellent. The menu and selection choices was varied for all palates. If you partake of wine or beer the choices were diverse. We'll definitely return on our next trip to Boone.

Wow! This place is magical. Every single item we touched was too good to be true. The tuna and the burger were amazing, and the mac 'n cheese was baked to perfection. The prices are actually really reasonable (~$13 to $25 for entrees) compared to the quality of the food. I've paid much more elsewhere for food that wasn't half as good. The staff was super, super friendly. And of course, the sweet tea is worth the trip alone. If you're in Boone, make plans to go here. You definitely won't regret it.

Superb dinner during recent visit to Boone. Ordered ravioli dinner that was perfectly prepared. My wife had superb short ribs. All four of us were SO pleased. Great service and cozy. Feels like a New York City or Charleston cafe. A must if you want a great dinner in Boone.

We ate lunch here - chcken & waffles were to die for as was the mac & cheese with a side salad. This is a smallish restaurant and does alot of business. Lunch is informal; dinner is white tablecloth with reservations suggested.. They use mainly local food and the chef combines ingredients in unusual but delicious ways. We first tried them at a tasting at the Saturday Farmers Market in Boone where they made mac & goat cheese on a grill! They are right in the heart of downtown Boone.

We had a girls lunch last week and fell in love with this place. It is a warm space , kind of small but big on flavor. Everything we had was wonderful but the Mac and Cheese was over the top.
Everything is home made and they use local grown when possible. The service is very good. We wish we lived closer so we go visit all the time. Don't miss it, it's not the same old thing.
