The Red Onion is a tasty place for a a delicious lunch. We ate outside under cover on a cool, rainy day, and they made us feel right at home by lighting the outside heater and providing thoughtful attention to compliment their great salad.

After seeing that so many people like this place, we went there with another couple. The ice tea had a great flavor. We all shared an artichoke dip which was very good and came with bread rounds, celery, and carrots. One of our party ordered a gluten-free burger which had to be re-made when it came to the table in a bun. This put her way behind the rest of us in her meal, but the waitress did offer her a 10% credit on her food because of it. We ordered a pizza to split, and frankly it was terrible. Tasteless crust, some tomato sauce, pepperoni and cheese was all that made up that pizza with no discernible spices. The meal that the other member of our party ordered was quiche and a salad. He said his was good, and it looked very good with fresh greens and lightly browned crust on the quiche. We will give the Red Onion another chance, but we will not order the pizza, and if you go, don't get the pizza either!

Had reservations and were seated right away, but our entire party noted that it was colder than a Waffle House! The blue cheese salad was perfect. The sirloin and the cajun chicken pasta were also very good. The pasta can feed two people easily. We did request more bread, but never got it. They were also out of baked potatoes, how does that happen on a Friday night at 8:15? Kids chicken nuggets could've been from McDonald's, nothing special at all. Our experience was 50/50. The food was very good, but the temperature being so cold made the meal miserable.

My wife & I both had the Low Country Salmon. Oh, what a delicious meal! Our waitress was very personable and attentive. I would recommend Red Onion with no reservations - wonderful!

My husband and I had lunch here on July 4 around 2pm. We were seated quickly, our server arrived promptly and was very friendly. The food was great! Definitely recommend giving this place a try.
