I cannot even begin to put into words the wonderful experience my husband and I had at the Lovill House Inn. Scott and Anne made us feel like we were family from the beginning. Beautiful setting in Boone, gorgeous garden and the house is wonderful.

This Christmas I know what I am giving my kids.... a weekend at The Lovill House Bed and Breakfast!

We had a hard time finding this spot with our GPS...there are several Old Bristol Roads in Boone. Be sure to go by the instructions Scott sends you. (Obviously we didn't...but he talked us to him.) The Lovill house is fairly convenient to town. The grounds are beautiful! Our only critique was breakfast was a buffet at 8:30. The food Anne prepared was very good. As we had to leave VERY early they were so kind to put together a very tasty sack breakfast for us.

My wife Sheila and I just had one of the best long weekends of our 25 year marriage! I made a reservation with Scott after deciding we wanted to go to the Boone area for our anniversary he told me what they had to offer and I decided to give them a try and now feel it was a GREAT Decision to say we were impressed would be a gross understatement everything the Cottage, the Flowers, the Breakfast, and to top it of the Chocolate Dipped Strawberries was fantastic plus Scott and Ann make the stay very warm!
We will stay with Scott and Ann again!

Room Tip: The Cottage was our choice but everything was very nice!

My husband and i wanted to explore the Boone area and he found the Inn online. It was perfect. The home is adorable, quiet, with great grounds. Little water fall and stream runs along the side of the house, great old barn, and wood shed. Flowers were in full bloom and Ann puts a fresh cut flower in your room upon arrival. Owners Ann and Scott are warm and attentive. They have turn down service and leave a couple chocolates on your pillow. We had the Linville room which was spacious, comfortable, and a private bath. Really clean and comfortable. A miracle happen during our stay......we slept in. :) We both have a hard time relaxing and the wrap-a-round porch has several wooden rockers.......we did relax. The coffee was fresh brewed and good!! Our breakfast was yummy made with fresh ingredients. We would refer friends and family and we hope to return for another visit. Loved it.

Scott and Ann are warm, welcoming and very attentive hosts. Our Bristol room was comfortable, clean and "homey". ABC Romance Package was the perfect way to celebrate - chilled sparkling wine, delectable strawberries and the most beautiful roses we have ever had! We had a lovely first wedding anniversary trip.

This was a surprise weekend set up by my husband for our 35th Wedding Anniversary! What a great time we had! The Inn Owners were very personable and I highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast! We will return and hopefully make it at least a yearly visit!

Lovely inn on beautiful grounds with a gazebo and a waterfall at the back of the garden. There were lots of birds around and we saw rabbits and even deer! The inn is spotless, the rooms are spacious and fitted with TVs & WI-FI, and the bed in our king room was very comfortable. Guests can store personal items in one of the kitchen fridges. We loved dining al fresco on the front porch with our locally bought bread, cheese and wine. Scott and Anne are extremely hospitable hosts who go the extra mile for their guests and Anne's breakfasts are superb featuring both sweet and savory items. Coffee and daily papers are available at 8:00 which one can enjoy in a rocker on the porch before breakfast is served. The inn is well located near the downtown restaurants and it's only a short drive to other area restaurants such as The Game Keeper. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
