I have eaten here for both dinner and breakfast. There is nearly always a wait, and sometimes it's quite long. So try to go at a slightly off time - either earlier or later than usual meals, though you will still wait. Once you sit down you're served immediately. It's family style with a set menu. Breakfast is very good, and there are a few things you'll be served that you can eat if you are a vegetarian, though it is heavily meat-pig based. The biscuits and cinnamon rolls are excellent, service is good and quick. Dinner is also good, though not as good as The Homeplace in Catawba, Virginia. It's a good deal for a lot of home cooked food, though it is not for health food fanatics. If you haven't tried a home cooking Southern restaurant that serves family style, this is a great place to start. Prices are reasonable. $8.95 for breakfast Saturday and Sunday 8-11am and about $14 for dinner for adults.
