After eating dinner here many times, we were finally in town on a weekend and able to try breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. The cinnamon rolls were my absolute favorite. The best part of the meal is that everything is unlimited refills!!! We will definitely be back!

We were very fortunate to happen upon Daniel Boone's right at opening, therefore, had no wait. However, the line wrapped the front of the restaurant by the time we left in 32 degree weather. Excellent service and atmosphere. The food is all southern comfort and was great! The only dessert that was great was the banana pudding. The chocolate cake and strawberry shortcake were "meh". An overall excellent meal and experience.

Our friends really wanted to eat here so we braved the wind and cold earlier this week and waited in line for nearly an hour. To be honest, I'm not sure it was worth it. Once you're seated it has the feeling of a dining hall with clanking dishes and rolling serving carts. Before you know it the table is covered with plates and bowls of corn (canned), beans (canned), applesauce, gravy, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, steak (ground) with gravy, country ham on biscuits, and plain biscuits with butter and preserves. We gave rave reviews to the chicken and the biscuits, mostly just average to everything else.

Two other couples and my fiancé and I ate at the Dan'l Boon Inn Restaurant on a Sunday evening. We had one of the best meals we had on our trip to NC that evening! Lots of food was brought to our table and it was all delicious, from the fried chicken, to the mashed potatoes and gravy (I don't usually like gravy, but I loved theirs), to the biscuits and ham. The price was reasonable, the service stellar, and we all had a great time!

Family style eating and the food and service were great! Atmosphere was nice and rustic, dining very causal. Good place to stop when in Boone.
