No more frankies, well this place measures up. Even though it is not the traditional pizza grab and go that I am used to

Very good Italian food, decent prices, especially for the amount of food. The bread was great, the oil & seasonings could have been more flavorful. I had Chicken Amalfi which had a nice flavor. My husband had one of the specials. Stuffed Salmon (with crab, shrimp) with sides of spaghetti & asparagus. I had a bite of that & it was yummy. Our waiter, Raymond, was excellent. Overall, great food at a great price.

OK - The atmosphere is not impressive. But the food is exquisite; thoughtfully prepared, well presented, very tastey! I eat there frequently. Service can be a little spotty - but the pasta makes up for it.

My wife and I recently dined at this restaurant and were very pleased with the food, the service, and would highly recommend this restaurant to any one who likes great Italian food. It is as good as it gets.

Seems that a lot of the people who visited here are discussing the Wilkesboro location, so let me be clear that this is about Boone.

These guys are the real deal. I have eaten in Italy, and in "little Italies" in Boston, NYC, and elsewhere. The red sauce at Amalfi's is wonderful. Their pastas are made in-house. Their soups are excellent. Their pizza is also great, but I can't rationalize the pizza when there's eggplant parmesan to be had.

Do yourself a favor and order an Italian specialty (don't order the steak or something you can get anywhere). You won't be sorry.

Oh, and the service is also excellent, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the portions are huge.
