My husband, two year-old son and I had a very pleasant experience at this campground. The road to the campground was a bit narrow, but as it was not frequently traveled, it was fine. The pull-through spots were located on a slope, not perfectly level, but not bad. We used our levelers but didn't try too hard to make the RV perfectly level, just good enough for our short visit. We had a nice concrete pad with our spot, a tree for shade, perfectly fine water and 30amp hookups. The other spots on our row G4, G5, and further down did not have concrete pads, so our spot (G3) was perfect for us. We laid out a carpet remnant on the concrete pad for our son to play with his toys and trains outside. The people at the check-in desk were very friendly and efficient. The first thing I noticed was how well-kept the campground was, especially the playground area that our two-year old loved--slide, swings, and see saw. My husband and son took a dip in the heated pool which was well kept. There was a glass and cardboard recycling depository inside and other recycling near the dumpsters outside. We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. If we take our son to Tweetsie Railroad again next year, we will definitely stay at this campground. It was hard to decide whether or not to stay at this campground based on some of the reviews I read, but after our stay I was pleased with our choice.
