Best chimichangas around! The steak ones have nice tender chunks of beef, the chicken ones are filled with a generous serving of breast pieces. The plate comes with beans and rice and a pretty serving of pico de gallo and guacamole. Good price for great meal.

I've lived in the high country for a while now an I love it here, but finding GOOD mexican style tacos had been a impossibilty- until this place came to town! I love the food and yes the staff are sooo friendly and helpful, they always seem to go out of their way to make sure their guests are taken care of and comfortable. Its a small menue but everything on it reminds me of home, south texas. My favorite is the tacos pastor, followed up by the carnitas, and anything else. I gave this place a five for ambiance even though it is a tiny hole in the wall because I think it is exactly as it should be. They've really worked with what they have by adding nice decorative touches... I almost feel like I'm home when I'm there... :)

We now usually go here instead of the other 2 Mexican restaurants in town. It's good, not fantastic, but it's different. They do have really authentic tacos ($9 for 4) and the other regular stuff. They have good guac and salsa. The tortas are not as good as the other place; the bread is too soft and not enough seasoning. You can get meat there not sold at the Americanized places. Tongue, head cheese, and other various meats. Prices are a pretty in line, I think maybe a little more on some things. The waitresses can now speak English, which is a change. Lots of Mexicans eat there.

My girlfriends and I loved it. We were a little intimidated by most of the menu being in spanish, but the waitress answered all of our questions guiding us to what we wanted. I loved my Horchata (chilled rice drink) and Chili Rellenos! The guacamole was okay and the ambiance was okay. I will be back for the food though.
