First of all, DO NOT have dinner here on a Friday night. Way to much going on. They have music out front, which is great, but seems everyone decided to come inside and get cocktails. Took my wife about 20 minutes to get a margarita, not good when you're paying around $100 for the meal, drinks, etc. No priority shown for the dinner guest. The manager did bring me another Bloody Mary, but it was not the same as the first one. I'm sure it was rushed just to shut us up. That would have been fine as well, had the food been exceptional, but it wasn't close. We shoulod have stopped with the appetizer and salad, and we would have been fine. Scallops were very salty and the beef short ribs were just okay. The waiter was very young and try as he did, not everything on the menu is an "excellent choice sir".....I felt I could have ordered a piece of toast or a crouton and he was have said "very great excellent choice tonight sir" LOL! Anyway, with the other really good restaurants in town, we won't go back for dinner, maybe for drinks and the music on the lawn, but that would be it. I will say, this was our first night in town and it only improved from there with the other restaurants. Stories, Bistro Roca, Village Cafe, and the Town Tavern was fantastic for the Clemson game...great hospitality by Justin and his team!
