We happened onto this restaurant as we were walking down the Main St. of blowing rock. We went in for dinner and was told we would have a over an hour wait. We gave our names, and continued to explore fabulous Blowing rock and had a drink across the street in a sports pub. When we returned, a bit early, we were able to get seat at their small bar and spoke to one of the seasonal residents who frequent the Storie Street Grille. They all raved about the food. This restaurant uses primarily fresh, organic and local foods.
We were seated in a lovely table in the middle of the restaurant. Our server was very busy, but tried to be as attentive as she could. My husband ordered a prime rib and I ordered meatloaf. Presentations were elegant. The fresh roasted root vegetables were wonderful. Hope we are in the area again.
