I've always felt that I have high standards as a former White House Chef and Manager of the worlds most exclusive resort on top of a mountain, Camp David.

My wife and I own our own Inn also. We had a delightful and inspiring time at Gideon Ridge and learned a lot! A lot of things to be done the right way and lovely - inspiring vistas, nooks and special moments provided by the love and care of the owners and staff here.

This Inn is a treasure hidden away on the top of it's own little mountain in time and space - it will whisk you away to your own kingdom of tranquility and peace.

We received this getaway as a prize and had a most wonderful time. It was an exquisite facility in a private location that made the stay even more enjoyable. The views were spectacular, especially the sunset over Grandfather Mtn. I felt blessed being there.

We enjoyed our trip to Gideon Ridge Inn immensely and would love to return. Our only regret is that we booked for one night instead of two. This was our first visit to this area and we were not expecting such beautiful scenery from Little Switzerland area to Blowing Rock.
We will return again on next trip to North Carolina.

We stayed in the Old Master and loved it. Lovely stone patio with incredible views, gas fireplace, antiques, etc. People there were so friendly and helpful. Great breakfasts and afternoon tea with amazing views. Perfect weekend!
