We stayed 2 nights back in October & had an amazing stay. The staff are all very nice & helpful.
Our room the "Colonial" was cozy & warm. We had a great porch that led out to the back yard of the property. The food in the restaurant at night was amazing. Everything local & fresh. After having dinner there the first night we booked dinner for the second night also. The chef came out & spoke to us after dinner & was very nice & friendly. We will return. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable and quiet, fantastic views, relaxing. Beautiful, classic bathrooms. The breakfast was good, not great, but I'm not complaining. All in all, well worth the high price. We will be back.

VERY amazing weekend getaway with my fiance. The attention to detail was amazing from the wonderful Inn Keeper Ms Anne whom greeted us upon arriving after 8pm and giving us a quick tour of the grounds and fresh ice for our room and her service the following day for Breakfast. The nightly turn-down was a treat w the little cookies and fresh wine glasses daily and thick blankets available if you wanted to relax outside and enjoy the mountain views. All around the grounds is gorgeous and we felt like it was the perfect amount of relaxing with an old vintage feel accommodated with modern amenities. We stayed in the Victorian Room and the 2 fireplaces; one in the bedroom and other in bath very nice also. Only thing I might change is the hot water supply. The larger Japanese style tub would deplete of hot water before fully filled; however, a nightly bath was wonderful regardless . We enjoyed one evening meal there which the chef did amazing no complaints :)!
Overall highly recommend as a quaint quiet peaceful Inn.

I stayed at The Gideon Ridge November 4-6 and shared The Grandfather View Suite with one of my friends. We loved this room and mentioned that the staff/ owners had thought of all the little things that make for a pleasant stay. There were plenty of pillows, with non feather included, which was nice due to feather allergies. The towels were large and fluffy and there was also a "make up remover" cloth! Make up mirrors, hairdryers, robes, shampoo, soap, even lip balm was all there in the room. We were surprised to even find a coffee pot with regular and decaf coffee pods and also cream and sugar! We especially loved the fact that we could regulate the temperature in each room! The little snacks left at turn down were greatly appreciated! The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I do wish that the website had mentioned the coffee pot in the room and also the coffee, tea, water and soft drink bar available 24/7. I packed a portable coffee pot and cups but didn't need it. There were also coffee mugs and wine and beverage glasses available, which was so wonderful, but wish we had known. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely return!
