My 77 yo father loves this place, but it really is just okay for most adults. But the kids will have fun as there is quite a bit more than just the railroad. One caution, the outlaw acting with the gunfights may be scary for some younger children, just something to consider.

We went there this past weekend and had a great time. I feel it was a bit pricey ($37 adults, $24 kids), but fun nonetheless. We have an 8 and 9 year old and they enjoyed the bigger rides. They really enjoyed the ski lift up the mountain to the one of the three small park areas. We watched a nice magic show ( props to the magician). The park is small but nicely put together. The train ride and show is nice but gets old seeing it again and again. Tip: ride in the 3rd train car on the right side seating area to get a good view of the show. The kids loved this park. There were no lines as it was a bit cold and it was the last day they were open for the season. The park even allows dogs inside which I though was pretty cool. They do need more food choices other then hot dogs and pizza. We would definitely recommend visiting this place and we will surely be back in the future.

We visited Tweetsie Railroad this past weekend. Although fun, the ticket prices are really high for what you get. I think there are more shops & places to eat than rides. The train was fun, but if you weren't right up front or very close to the middle, you missed the "show" at the two stops that the train made. Our son loves rides, but there were only a few he could ride due to his height (he's 3 1/2). We kept riding the same ones over & over. He was really disappointed that he couldn't ride the helicopters & ferris wheel. Overall, a fun place to visit for a few hours, but only if you are willing to pay big $$. For two adults & one child it was $100 for us. Probably won't go again.
