“Ice cream was delish”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

We weren't sure about whether we could fit dessert in, but it was worth it-- the waffle cones were tasty, the ice cream was great, and the fudge samples were delicious as well

“Always good”
Reviewed July 5, 2012

Right in the middle of downtown Blowing Rock. Ice cream is always good but a bit pricey.

“Great ice cream”
Reviewed July 3, 2012

Great homemade ice cream with lots of choices. We had two berry pie, salted caramel and chocolate cashew. The total for three scoops in one cup and two waffle cones was $15. The place was packed with the line to the door the whole time we were there but the line moved quickly. It probably took about 15 minutes to get through the line and pay. There was lots of other sweets like fudge and other stuff. But the ice cream seemed to be the main attraction.

“Fell In Love....”
Reviewed June 9, 2012

What's not to like about chocolate and ice cream! You can watch the fudge being made on marble tables as you place your order. To help you decide on a flavor to purchase, they will give you a sample to taste before you buy. Before making your final purchase, check out the cases of other homemade chocolates. Finally, don't forget the ice cream. Again, you'll have to make a difficult decision on which flavor to choose. Prices are a bit high, but for the quality, it's worth the splurge. No trip to Blowing Rock is complete without a trip to Kilwins.
