“Love it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2013 via mobile

We go here a fair amount. Kind caring folks who strive to provide a quality product. If you want cheaper, lower quality food, go somewhere else. You can tell that the owners have high standards. We will continue to support this great business and addition in Black Mountain.

“My favorite place in Black Mountain!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2012

I am a local and have visited every coffee place in the area and every restaurant. The Artisan is the best! The artisan is the first place I bring friends from out of town. It provides upscale food and drink with our small town charm. I did not even drink coffee before coming to the artisan. The aroma of a pumpkin spice latte had me the moment I walked in. After that I have come to love everything on the menu. My favorite is a 16 oz coffee with sugar free vanilla and an everything bagel with Herb and Garlic cream cheese. The service is excellent and friendly. The store is always clean. Their is always a pleasant atmosphere whenever I go in there. It is definitely the best place to have a friend or two meet you in Black Mountain.

“Love this place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2012

My husband and I go here several times a week. We are always greeted in a very friendly manner. The service is quick, we have never, ever waited too long for anything whatsoever. The food is delicious. The owners are great chefs, and the pizzas are outstanding. They also have New York bagels, which is quite a rare find in this area, and the freshest and most delicious cream cheese. In addition, we can get organic fruit and veggies there and not have to travel 30 minutes to the grocery that we go to. We also enjoy this as a meeting place for seeing friends and neighbors. We LOVE going to this place and hope that they are there for a long, long time...

“It was okay”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2012

Beautiful interior. Looks like the owners know what they are doing on the presentation side of things, however the older woman who was working seemed like a know-it-all...a little cocky. The staff could use a lesson in customer service. Food was okay. Again, the presentation & decoration of the shop was gorgeous.

“good mochas”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2012

The pasteries and mochas are wonderful. The bagels are good, but the toasting varies depending on who is in the kitchen. Service is not fast, but we enjoy it for coffee and pasteries.
