Brought 5 people with me to eat lunch. Very small portions for such an expensive lunch! Not sure how anyone can justify paying these prices for "gourmet" pizza...

The Mediterranean pizza was great the last time, and the Fun Guy pizza was outstanding this time. Also had the Pasta Carbonara. All good, all fresh, all very affordable. Another one of those "tucked away" places in Black Mountain off the main drag. Get off Main Street and get surprised!

Sometimes you get lucky and the oven is at the right temp and you get delicious, crispy pizza. Other times it's a gloppy mess with no apologies from the employees. Good salads. Too bad their quality control is so uneven.

The pizza has a full array of toppings. The sausage is authentic Italian (with fennel seeds) and is very good. The Italian gravy is daily made and tastes fresh and savory.

We split s garden salad and their dressing was good. Had the Scar Face pizza again this time we had it charred more. So good. We were here in May and had to stop in to have some more of their pizza. It is still excellent!
