A surprisingly original menu for a small town. Atmosphere is casual, service appropriately attentive. A super deal on the wine; buy a bottle at the local wine shop - pretty good selection- and the corkage fee is waived. The heirloom tomato caprese salad was combined with a fresh succotash/bacon mix, the fresh basil was very aromatic. This small plate served 2 as an appetizer. The chicken marsala was robust and flavorful. The filet with bordelaise was in contrast just OK as was the bread pudding dessert. We would go back if ever through Black Mountain.
