A few dollars and the calming view of fishing boats, tour boats, and yachts will whet your appetite for a lunch you won't forget. I ate a bowl ($5.45) of clam chowder that was loaded with clams and potatoes, a milky, creamy base, and spices. We also ordered hot crab dip. It was served with baked pita bread wedges. Out of this world. It was delicious on Captain's wafers too. Husband ordered seafood gumbo. It had shrimp, chicken, sausage, rice and tomatoes with spices. It was Eastern NC gumbo, not Cajun gumbo. And it was also very good. Total bill without tip was $23.50 including drinks. I highly recommend a trip for the food and the view, especially if you get an outside table!
