Great menu, also having dinner on the water front is nice as well. The staff are very friendly; The Spouter Inn serves delicious sweets from their bakery. I recommend going after height of vacation season.

“Great food, decent price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2012

We ate outside, which was nice. It was cool to see all the boats go by and we enjoyed the sea breeze. I had the gumbo to begin with, which was good. The main course was a seafood pasta dish with marinara sauce, which was terrific. Dessert was okay; personally I would hold off and get something from the bakery. The only complaint I have is that the tip is automatically added... I was actually going to tip more than 15%, but it was already added in.

“WONDERFUL”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2012

My husband and I each had one of their versions of the club sandwich - both were excellent. We also tried the chowder - yum. Add this to eating right on the waterfront made for a wonderful lunch in Beaufort.

“A good year round stop on the water in Beaufort”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2012

It provides good food, excellent service, reasonable prices. Simple fare on an extensive menu. The yellow-fin Tuna steak sandwich is a great lunch. Libations are of generous size and well prepared. Ambiance including the deck is a little crowded but comfortable.

“Fabulous view, good food, unpretentious atmosphere, friendly and efficient service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2012

While there are fancier places to dine in Beaufort these days, we return to the Spouter for well prepared local fish and seafood, reasonable prices, consistently excellent and personable service, and dining right by the water. A good place.
