“Waterfront Dining for All”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2012

The Spouter Inn has been a feature of the Beaufort waterfront for a number of years. Located on the water the views are very nice. Food selection is coastal and is excellent. Seafood specials are always changing. The Spouter has just been remodeled this winter with lighter colors and a modernized bar area. Well worth a stop for lunch or dinner.

We thought the food was great! We both had Seafood & had great flavor. We also shared a dessert which was really good too! Thought the view was nice as well- right on the waterfront!

This place has a GREAT view of the water and you can often see dolphins playing while you eat. The seafood is quite good. We often take guests here.

“Good seafood reasonably priced at a great location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2011

We lunched at The Spouter Inn on December 5, 2011. The service was friendly, competent and prompt. Their chowders - a corn and crab chowder, and the "spouter chowder" (their clam chowder version) - were very good. The sandwiches and half-sandwiches were good, but not outstanding. We sat outside in a nice December afternoon and were entertained by a pod of dolphins which frolicked 30 yards from the back of the restaurant. The price for 3 lunches and non-alcoholic beverages was around $40.
