Under new ownership and management, the Cedars has charming, comfortable rooms. I stayed in the Cottage, which has its own separate entrance and small porch. It also has a comfortable sitting area. Breakfasts, though not "hot" due to a peculiarity of state law, are delicious: home made muffins, fruit, good coffee. Jenn is always helpful with detailed directions and recommendations. I stayed for two business trips, andI hope to come back when I'm in the area again for fun.
The restaurant is great, too. We had amazing entrees, delicious and with beautiful presentation. This was the best meal we had had in a long time, such that you may expect in a top restaurant in a big city. The grilled Caesar salad was wonderful.More
