I emailed the manager to make my reservation for 8pm Monday, August 5th as we were only staying one night in Beaufort. I selected the restaurant based on previous reviews and was glad I did. The food was delish! Awesome presentation. I only wish I had saved room for dessert. I anticipated the expense of the meal and it was worth the price. I would definitely go here again. I had The Cedar’s Chopped Salad to start with:
--- Baby Mixed Greens, Applewood Bacon, Avocado, Cucumber, Tomato, Basil and Blue Cheese Tossed in Champagne Vinaigrette.
My spouse had Chardonnay Steamed Mussels
--- With Artichokes, Tomatoes, Spinach and Roasted Garlic.
Our entrees were:
Pan Seared Black Grouper
--- Paired with a Dijon Maple Glaze, Topped with Lump Crab &
Pan-Roasted Local Shrimp and Scallops
--- Served over Goat Cheese Polenta with a Tomato, Corn, Collard Green Cream Sauce
I have included pictures of these dishes. Do dine here if you get the chance. There was only the hostess and the one server, but we were on vacation and weren't too troubled with the occasional delay.
