Tucked away on a side street in Beaufort, this resto is a real treat, great décor, attentive and knowledgeable staff, the biggest problem is what to choose from the menu, it all sounds so tempting! We decided to select as much variety as we could from the Tapas, small plate and big plate menus and we were not disappointed, the food was truly outstanding, some of the highlights were the tomato pie, braised beef bruschetta and the shrimp and grits all from the Tapas list. The mushroom filo from the small plate list and the cast iron chicken breast from the big plate list. We followed that up with a desert sampler of Bananas flambé, Lemon curd and a mint choc brownie.
All of our selections were delicious in particular the Tomato pie, cast iron chicken breast and the lemon curd were all fabulous!!!
The evening was one of my most memorable culinary experiences in the US, it is a must do night out if you are in the area looking for a great meal and a nice glass of something to wash it down with.
