“Fun night!”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

This was a great activity to do in the evening! The tour guide was knowledgable and funny! You could also tell he really loved the town of Beaufort! The story of Blackbeard Pirate was very interesting! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed ourselves. Before the tour, we went out to eat at Clawson's, then we explored the many shops. It was a gorgeous area and evening and I would highly recommend spending some time in this town if you are traveling around the area. We were staying in Emerald Isle (which is amazing as well!) right on the beach, and took the time to come out to Beaufort and definitely did not regret it!

“Pleasant Ghost Walk”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

Met our Pirate Guide (1st time we have had a pirate leading a ghost walk) at the Inlet Inn. The tour lasted about an hour with our guide telling ghost stories most of the time. Pointed out several homes associated with the stories and ended up at a historic cemetery. The $15/person price for the tour was fair (and the guide did not even request/expect and extra tip).

“Great Ending!”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

Our guide seemed to be in a wee bit of hurry and hurried us along a bit faster than we would have liked. We thought it would be a leisurely stroll not a race. Seeing Blackbeard's home and the cemetery were the best parts!

“Loved the Tour (and our Pirate Guide)”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

For $15 per person, this was a fun way to see Beaufort, hear some of its history, see the quieter parts of the neighborhoods, and have a sprinkling of ghost/mystery stories throughout. We were a group of adults with two teens and grandparents in their late 60's. The teens loved our guide and he did a good job of talking while walking backwards, with a sense of humor, keeping us safe crossing streets as a group, and pointing out sites of interest. Saw the other reviews and we did not feel as if the tour was a "work out.." The pace was good and there were enough stops for ghost/mystery storytelling between the walking that we did not tire out. The cemetery definitely is the highlight and we came back during the day to check it out. Definitely want bug spray when standing still but that goes with the territory in NC in the evenings. Highly recommend it for an after dinner activity.

“A night for history and ghosts”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

This was a heck of a good tour. The guide was clever, funny and just generally entertaining. The history of Beaufort was relayed complete with any resident ghosts that may or may not show up for the tour. Now, this is not a Ghost Adventures tour. I read a bunch of the reviews and it seems to me that people are expecting something that is never advertised. The art of ghost hunting itself is through the stories that are passed down. You'll get that and a heck of a finish at the local cemetary.
