We stayed here for a week in unit 3C. The decor in the unit was a bit out of date. The cleanliness of the unit was a bit disappointing--hair a dirt behind the door in the bathroom, dirty appliances, dirty walls, and soiled carpeting. There also seemed to be something biting our legs off and on during the week. The unit may have had fleas in it -- we complained upon departure. The resort had activities which were nice, a small workout room, and a pool along with paddle boats and a miniature golf course. The paddle boat area was small and swampy. The miniature golf course was very old and run down.
The area was nice--Banner Elk. It was relaxing and had a lot of retirees. We had a nice view from our unit. The unit had some nice ceramic tile and I liked the loft setup (2 bedroom unit). There was also a big jacuzzi upstairs which was nice. There was a lot of balcony--upstairs and down, which was again nice. The unit was well equipped and they provided a daily linen exchange.
Overall, I'd say it was an average resort.
