Dining options: Breakfast, Late Night, Outdoor Seating, Reservations
Description: Come sit on the deck, watch the boats travel in and out of the harbor, enjoy the sunset with a delicious cocktail and fantastic meal. Look for some interesting changes to the menu as we add some new goodies. Of course, keeping all the old favorites. Local shrimp, fresh caught fish and prime beef are featured on the menu. We have, as always, switched up the wines with some excellent new tastes for you to experience. The beer list has evolved to include many more NC Craft Beer. We have added some awesome NC Spirits for you to enjoy. Topo Vodka from Chapel Hill is every bit as smooth and delicious as some of the more common name brands. Defiant Whiskey from from Blue Ridge Brewery, amazing! Sushi returns in May. The Little Red Trailer has moved to California. It will be replaced by Honey's BBQ Shack. Awesome BBQ ribs, brisket and pulled pork to take home or eat at the picnic tables. Construction has begun!! And, as always, our bartenders are ready to serve up their latest creations

“First time good, second time very poor”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

First time was fine. Thursday night and all entrees available. Server was good. Second time was awful. No entrees available other than boiled food. They ran out of batter so nothing fried. No bacon for wedge salad. Sun was still shining on a Monday night and they were out of food. Unbelievably bad planning. Management should be fired. Waitress was also awful. Didn't put our order in on time to ensure that we got what we ordered. Then, after all of that, no recompense. Bald Head is a very special place and this restaurant does not add to the experience, other than the good tap beers. Can't believe that this place is allowed to exist. Perk up or get out. You are in the restaurant business....you should not run out of food....it's your job and there are no excuses good enough. If we ran our businesses this way (which allows us to come to Bald Head, we'd be out of business.

“Ugh - even after a second chance”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

Let's face it - there are not a lot of places to eat out on Bald Head Island and Mojo's knows that. We had a terrible experience during our last visit in 2012 and went back to give them a second chance. Ugh! Mediocre or worse meals and poor service. The only positive is that our food was brought fast and was hot.

If you do go to Mojo's do yourself and your wallet a favor - stick to the burgers and beers. It is the only thing they seem to do well.

Sorry - we really tried to like it!

“Blah”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

I worked at SeaWorld for years. I felt like this was a restaurant there... and that is not exactly a compliment. For SeaWorld, the food was good for a theme park, however for a restaurant definitely not good. My hamburger had some taste, but lacked quality, especially for the price tag. Fries were blah. This really was our only option at the time.

“My Cousins' Place”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

By way of full disclosure I should tell you off the bat that two of my favorite cousins, Andrea and John Pitera bought Eb & Flo's a year ago and turned it into Mojo's. Recently, I was finally able to make a visit and try out their new place. I came away very impressed and very pleased to be able to offer a whole hearted endorsement and recommendation. The view alone would make Mojo's worth a visit, but the food will bring you back. Today's lunch special Grllled Grouper on a croissant with fresh apple slaw and plump sweet potato fries was terrific, and eating out on the deck watching the boats come and go was superb. At dinner I followed owner and chef's advice and chose grilled chicken wings and fried mac and cheese to start and the blackened catfish for my entree. Plump juicy grilled wings lightly touched with a nice bbq sauce were so good we ordered seconds and the mac and cheese, cut into cubes and deep fried were a delightful twist on a familiar theme, with crispy coating yielding to mellow mac and cheesy goodness inside. Fortunately I have saved some accolades for the main dish as it was a big hit. A meaty catfish fillet wrapped in a spicy yet subtle rub and served atop parmesan grits with a corn and black bean salsa and citrus aioli. The spice of the fish, the piquant parmesan notes of the creamy grits along with the sweetness of the corn relish and tangy citrus aioli united for a can't-miss entree. A winning combination which will not disappoint.Save room for dessert specials. The Creme Brulee Cheesecake was out of this world. They have created something very special here with a great vibe, great view and great food. Tell them Cousin Rick sent you.
