I love a place that doesn't try to conquer the world but rather sets out to do a few things perfectly. That is Frank Pepe. They make beautiful pizza with fabulous toppings. No garlic knots, no ziti, no nonsense. The pizzas are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside like in Rome. The toppings are first rate, kudos for using real olives, not tasteless Lindsey olives. The clam pie is one of the best around. The waitstaff is super friendly and the Italian beers lovely. Simple perfection.
