Stayed at this Hampton Inn this past weekend. A little awkward to get to as it's off the beaten path, but once your there it's well worth the stay. It's quiet, clean, has plenty of parking. Our room, a king-size handicapped accessible room, was spacious and very comfortable. Although not initially greeted as a Hilton Honors member, the young woman who check us in (Ms. Gonzalez, I think) was very apologetic about not greeting us as such. The complementary breakfast wasn't bad. I had the french toast sticks and turkey sausage as the eggs were a little too done for me. All in all a very pleasant experience. We will definitely be back when we're in the area again. And the Wi-fi was free!

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in NY its nice to have a quiet nights sleep and be just a half hour from the city. We didn't have to worry about parking or honking or pesty parking fees. It's very kid friendly, my kids loved staying here and going down every morning for their complimentary breakfast. We've stayed here a couple of times already and will definitely return on our future trips to NY.

Checked in at 3pm, the room was huge, as it was a double queen suite. It had nearly everything you'd need, two queen beds (very comfy), sofa with pull-out bed (not needed), great easy chair, desk, excellent shower, kitchen area with microwave and fridge, etc. All but a mini-bar (again, not needed). TV included HD channels, too. Staff was courteous, friendly, nice, just right. The hotel is in an industrial park, seems crazy, but the location was great for us--we were able to drive into Yankee Stadium with ease. The next day we took the commuter rail into Manhattan for sight-seeing, still very convenient. A couple of restaurants nearby were useful, too. I would definitely stay there again when visiting NYC.

Room Tip: Get the suite if you can, it's worth the extra $$ and a great value when compared to hotels NYC.

My wife and I stayed there and went to a Yankee game by Metro North out of the Gteystone Station. They drive you to the station and pick you up after the game, very good service. The Hotel breakfast is great, eggs, bacon, toast, muffins, waffles, etc. Very clean hotel, great service, friendly, and they remember your name. Small workout room, pool with sauna. Stay can range from $149 to $219 a night, keep checking on the rate to get the best deal.

Room Tip: Get a room with a wet bar and small refrigerator, it is larger, the bathrooms are very large.

Staff extremely friendly. Patio out back clean. One negative was no cookies or water when I checked in. Room clean quiet for sleeping. Patio area could be used more for grilling for guests. Bar area comfortable although loaded with men only. Good place for those who are traveling into NYC.
