“great place”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Super good Thai food - everything fresh and interesting. No reservations so go early. Outdoor area if the weather is good. Just the right amount of heat to balance flavors

“Excellent and simple Thai”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

Sripraphai is one of my favorite restaurants. Its out in queens, but close to subway stops on the No7 subway. Or if you feel up to it, you can bike there in about half an hour which is what we did. Its a casual place with an outdoor garden. The food is simple, but delicious. and when they ask you if you want it spicy, they really mean it. To top it all, its very affordable. Service is no frills and quick. The papaya salad is certainly the best in NYC

“Great Thai in Woodside”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

Sripraphai is one of the best Thai restuarants in New York. It used to be better in the past, when it was smaller, but even now, it is very, very good. It makes the best tom-yum soup in NYC. Also, try the pork with chilies and basil, the duck salad and the pad see euw. It is a pity they don't accept credit cards, so make sure you go to the ATM before you head out to Woodside.

“Authentic Thai Food”
Reviewed March 30, 2013

This was one of the best Thai food experiences I've had in a long time. Sripraphai is located about 20 minutes outside of Manhattan and I was glad to make this trip to Woodside. I went with the usual dishes that I get at different Thai places to see if they measure up. They did not disappoint. Their papaya salad had just the right amount of heat and freshness. Crab fried rice was fluffy and had real crab meat. Green curry with thai eggplant was deceptively spicy with soothing creaminess of the coconut milk. Drunken noodle seemed to have enough heat but lacked the taste that I was used to. It could have been better. They have desserts that you can take out in a refrigerator case at the entrance. You can't go wrong with any of them. How bad could it be with sweet condensed and coconut milk?

Lastly, don't forget to bring cash and enjoy.
