“Fantastic Weekend at North Pole Inn!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

We stayed at the North Pole in on 24-26 August, 2012 and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and accomadating throughout the whole weekend. We opened the door to our room and were pleasantly surpirsed with the knotty pine walls and log furniture. The room was great...had no unpleasant odos like other hotels tend to have and the bathroom was very well kept up. Every detail was made to make the room feel like a log home. The property was equally as nice. 2 pools that we took advantage of. They were kept locked but phones were nearby and a guard was there very quickly to let us in. The kids had a blast in the rec rom and the trail to the Ausable River was short but nice. If you like rustic gifts and tee shirts...it's a great place to stop...even if you don't stay there. They even have a huge line of local beers to mix and match...more brands than can be named. I would recommend this place to anyone (although I would love to keep it to myself so that rooms are always available for our return). Thanks for a great weekend!! :-) The Simpsons

Room Tip: Any one will do!!

The 100 Acre area for camping was nice. The campsites were big enough not to feel like a sardine. The place was not crowded and quiet. Tent camping can be very secluded. The bathrooms were new and clean in the 100 acre area. The employees were also very friendly-happy the whole time.

Room Tip: Camp at the 100 Acre area if you like lots of trees and shade.

We had such a wonderful experience at North Pole Resorts camping. We purchased our first camper this year, and did not know what to expect. The staff were incredible at meeting any of our needs. The store had everything we didn't get before our trip. Bathrooms were extremely clean on the property. Plenty of activities for the kids (and adults) to enjoy. We are already planning our next trip, and plan to definitely stay here again !! Highly recommend it to anyone, especially those with big rig RV's !!

We planned a family trip for our 3 families and wanted to head to the Adirondacks. We had heard from some friends that this was a good campground that also had a motel on it. My two brother in laws had pop up's and we did not so they took to sites in the back of the camp ground over looking the river. The sites were beautiful. Every morning we only had to walk a few feet to the river and launched our kayaks. Very clean and peaceful. The motel room was very clean and the air conditioner unit kept the room more than comfortable seeing as it was very warm during the days. Beds were comfortable. The room had a mid sized fridge that was great for milk and drinks for breakfast. Cable tv had all the channels you needed. Right outside each door were a pair of adirondack chairs and even though you were facing the parking lot beyond it you could see a beautiful skyline of mountains. I was a big fan of the satellite radio they played from the overhead speakers. The camp store is one of the best I have ever seen. Not only did they have a little bit of everything from trinkets to useful camping gear but they also had fresh coffee every morning ($2 for a large) and one of the best selections of micro-brews I have seen. There is a game room with some ping pong tables and a pool table. My girls (11 and 9) had a blast with their cousins who are each a year older on the skeeball games that gave out tickets. For every 25 tickets they were able to turn them in at the camp store for a toy off the shelf. There are two pools- one back by the camp sites and one up in the front of the property outside of the motel. What really impressed us was how these folks run the campground. They are very family oriented and the actions of the owners/employees reflect it. They are strict with the rules and make sure that your stay is not interrupted by people out of control. I appreciated seeing them in golf carts through out the camp ground all day and into the night. If we needed anything or had a problem they were right there to help. We will be going back and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun trip.

Myself, my wife and our granddaughter stayed for two nights to go to Santa's workshop. This place is only a 5 minute drive to Santa's workshop and close to Lake Placid. We found this to be very clean and accomodating to all our needs. Our room had two Queen size beds. We highly recommend staying there. They also have a real nice RV park .

I stayed here with my three children (8,9 and 11) in a camping cabin the Resort section. It was great to have the pools and the activities close. The kids had a great time and want to go back again! The camp store had everything we needed to pick up during our stay and the staff members were very helpful. Everything was well taken care of and clean.

If you are looking for a much more secluded stay, then the 100 Acre Woods section would be a better option. While I enjoyed the resort, the sites are pretty close together.

Overall, it was a great place to stay and I would recommend it.

We arrived with an entire pee wee hockey team!
This has been a problem in the past with hosts that don't understand "kids just want to have fun!" The gracious hosts of the North Pole Resorts understood this and helped make it happen. They had plenty of areas where kids could be kids and no one minded.
When my family stays at any hotel, motel or lodge my number one concern is cleanliness.
Our room, linens and bathroom were perfectly fresh and clean!!
Thank You for a great time!!!
