Family going away to college dinner this pleasant higher end northern italian restaurant opened in april. Nice decor with linen table cloths a quiet evening with good food. Salads plentiful a little too salty. Appetizers enough to fill. Bread fresh with the meal. Chicken tender the chianti satisfying. Seafood combination was perfectly cooked. Tiramisu excellent. An excellent addition to the williamsville dining. The owner on site and attentive. A must try. Outdoor seating available. We will return soon with friends.

We enjoyed every single meal we had there!
Very good quality food + friendly and professional stuff + amazing atmosphere.
Very surprising to find such a place here but if you are nearby and you're looking for a good place for a dinner with reasonable price you definitely need to choose Cugino's!
You won't regret!!

My work route often brings me up and down Main Street. One day a new restaurant caught my eye as it occupies the former space of a favorite ski shop. The exterior had a very welcoming feel and the memories of the shop were quickly removed. I also noticed a nice outside seating area.
On a Sunday we decided to venture to Cugino's which we heard is northern Italian cuisine. The restaurant was modestly busy for a Sunday night. The décor simple but elegant with all tables having nice white tablecloths (including the outside tables). We were quickly escorted to a table outdoors which we requested. The owners did not skimp on the outdoor seating as the chairs were comfortable with a nice thick chair pad. No plastic Walmart furniture here!
We found that the wine selection was a bit more than we like to pay but the wine by the glass was the going rate so we went in that direction. Our waitress was very nice and informative. We shared the ravioli appetizer which was excellent. Only three raviolis, so it really was enough for one person. I ordered the lobster pasta special which came with 2 nice pieces of lobster meat on top. It had a nice light cream sauce. Even though the portion did not look large, I was unable to finish it and had to resort to a take home container. Also served with the dinner was a nice bread with a crusty top. excellent!
No fault to the owners, when sitting outdoors you could over hear the car noise from Main Street. To the fault of the owners, the chef and some other workers took smoke breaks within view of the outdoor seating. At least three breaks while we were there. I'm confident the owners will take care of this issue as they do have attention to detail.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for a nice night out or special occasion. The service was excellent as was the food. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

This was our first trip to Cugino's and we very much enjoyed the experience. Our waiter was very well trained, knew the menu, knew wines and beer, and was personable. The restaurant was very quiet upon our arrival, but got extremely busy shortly after. Service did not change.

Everyone enjoyed their meals. I was not overly impressed with the gnocchi although the mushrooms and sauce were very good. Portions were adequate, not very large.

My wife and I enjoyed a perfectly delightful dinner at this relatively new restaurant. The decor and furnishings were befitting a white table cloth restaurant, the owner was very engaging and the wait staff was very experienced and excellent. The menu offerings and specials were very creative. We had wild sockeye salmon and rabbit ragu, both or which were very uniquely prepared and delicious. The pricing was consistent with offering and quality. The wine list was fine, but slightly overpriced. We enjoyed it enough that we brought our daughter and son-in-law a gift certificate as a thank you gift,
