We have visited Russells/Salvatore's Grand Hotel for the dinner and room package several times. You just cant go wrong with this value. The meal alone is worth the price of the entire package. Rooms are absolutely beautiful, most with hot tubs and walk-in showers & king beds. Absolutely clean, comfortable, convenient and quiet AND free wifi which is dependable. Breakfast should really be improved, although included in the package it is pretty similar to the regular breakfasts offered at most chains and is lacking considering the high-end dining that Russell's offers. The dinners are so reasonable at $70/couple with your choice of entree, app & dessert; and a decent wine list is offered (extra of course). A great getaway and for Canadians all the shopping you could want on Transit Rd. Book early as weekends fill up quickly, esp. Sundays with a discounted price.

Room Tip: Any room, any of the 3 floors have all worked for us.

Having stayed here before for pre-flight occassions we could not be happier with this hotel.
Staff courteous and extremely helpful.
Rooms spotlessly clean as always.
We used the early morning shuttle and the gentleman driving accommodated us by leaving early to ensure we were at the airport in plenty of time for our flight.
Plan on returning as soon as possible!

No one does it better than Russell! Every attention to detail is his mantra. He is still there daily to oversee every aspect. Amazing service, food and impeccable cleanliness. I have been going to this fabulous boutique hotel and his previous one for almost 25 years. I will keep coming back so long as we have a Russell. Congrats on getting it right. We all love you dearly.

We stayed here on our Wedding night, in the Royal Suite.

Everything was just perfect. We checked in very late, and staff was very attentive, even at 1am.

The room blew me away how nice it was.

Two full rooms, two plasma TV's, fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, full walk in shower. All at the price of $199 per night. Well worth the money, and they included a nice breakfast buffet in the morning.

We were extremely comfortable, the room was very quiet as well. Great restful sleep.

Every member of staff we talked to was very friendly and smiling. What an operation.

When we woke up, we had a nice breakfast, and Russ Salvatore was sitting at the table next to us greeting everyone and thanking them for coming. Truly a class operation, and a stay we will never forget.

I have stayed at other fine hotels in this area, and right now this is the Finest hotel in Western New York.

Location is fantastic, you are maybe a 2 minute drive from the BUF airport.

Room Tip: Pay extra and get the royal suite room, it is well worth it.

This hotel is the best in the area hands down! A true Boutique Hotel with plenty of room, even in the hallways! Quiet (even being near the airport) energy efficient with no hassle wi-fi. The doors even had a slow quiet close feature! All the towels you could possibly need, an incredible homemade breakfast and coffee that even beats Tim Horton's!

The pictures in the elevator make you want to explore all that Buffalo has to offer!

Enjoyed my stay!

Room Tip: Don't need a tip!

This hotel was recommended by a friend, and was worth the drive. Staff were very friendly, room was beautiful, dinner was delicious, as was the breakfast buffett. This was like being away on a tropical vacation. Will definitely go back!

Terri- Lynn- likening us to a tropical vacation was music to our ears- Buffalo is known for the exact opposite when it comes to weather. We are so fortunate to have a staff that is so vested in our guests satisfaction I cant wait to hang this review for them all to see. Hope to see you soon!

This is simply the best hotel in the Greater Buffalo area. Russell's restaurant, is simply the best steakhouse: not in Buffalo, but anywhere. Everywhere you go in the hotel/restaurant complex you see or feel Russell. He is everywhere. You see his car when you drive in. You see him near the front desk. He is working in the restaurant, He is there for breakfast, his pictures are everywhere. And you just know that all aspects of the hotel, including furnishings and pictures as well as the design are all his. I am sure that he has tasted all of the food served at Russells. We travel to this area 5-10 times per year and have almost always stayed in a chain hotel.

Thank you Russell Salvatore, you have changed this habit. We plan to be back often. Your vision and personal touches have made this one of the best hotel stays ever and anywhere.

Room Tip: We liked the 5th floor
