Excellent Hotel, the rooms are big, beautiful and very convenient. They have an amazing lobby with grand chandeliers and a picturesque courtyard where breakfast is served. Breakfast was very good with good selection of juices, fruits, cereals, cupcakes and DIY waffles. The location is very convenient and is about 5 -10 minutes from the Buffalo Airport and about 30 minutes from Niagara. They have a shuttle service to and from the Buffalo airport.
I would have rated this hotel a 5 but decided on 4 since it took more than 30 minutes for the shuttle to arrive to pick us up from the airport and had to call about 3 times before it finally came which they said was due to some problem with their regular airport shuttle. However they were prompt in dropping us to the airport two other times that we requested them to.

We booked two hotel rooms for one night as we were flying to Fort Lauderdale the following day. This hotel allows you to leave your car in the parking lot and gives you a ride to and from the airport. Interesting place that reminded me of days of yore but it was kind of neat and funky. Rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable with good bedding and the bathroom was decent. It was clean and that was our main consideration. We did however, have a problem with the heat in our room but a lovely gentleman came and fixed it so we were relieved and grateful. The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about but all in all, it was okay. We appreciated the service and were quite content; however, upon our return we were a little perturbed We arrived two days after a snow storm but noted that although the parking lot had been plowed, they in fact had plowed IN our car behind a large bank of now hard snow. We did get to use the hotel shovel but it took 40 minutes to shovel the car out. Another time, we will find a maintained parking lot when flying out in the winter. We mention this to forewarn others who might get themselves in the same boat or should I say – the snow!

We 4 couples stayed at Salvatores Grand Hotel, but were shuttled to the Ballroom for Salvatore's Garden Place Hotel's New Year's Eve festivities. (2 different places, it is confusing!)
As usual opulent Christmas decor made this a fun destination to visit. The NYE's event was very well done. Open bar included specailty drinks, Appetizers were OK, nothing special, but the meal was great. Medium rare filet with chicken parmesan entree and sweets buffet latter. Champagne was better quality than many places and the band and DJ were really fun. The band Soul Providers played great music and the DJ catered to the younger set in the crowd. Free shuttle returned us to our hotel. We had a great time and would definately do this again.

On the way back we stayed at Salvatores again. We asked for room with two queen beds and that was booked months in advance. When we got there they only had a king bed available. I was not pleased with this as I was travelling with a coworker who I do not know very well and found this uncomfortable to share the bed. There was no concession made for the not having our room as ordered. Food for breakfast was great. We had noisy party neighbors but that is not the fault of the hotel. They offer a free ride to the restaurant and to the airport. I would stay there again.

My wife and friend stopped overnight for a shopping trip. The hotel was super clean but dated. The staff were super friendly and the hotel was super clean. The heating unit was grimy and didn't function that well. The most disappointing was the breakfast which was similar to a budget hotel. Being a non chain, they were expecting a nice breakfast and it wasn't really that good.
Too bad.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience with us here at the Garden Place Hotel. I can assure you that our customer service is like no other. Our staff is trained to go above and beyond to exceed our guests expectations. Our Hot Breakfast Buffet has been extended this past year adding many new items. We have hot items such as eggs and sausage. We have pastries and cereals available as well. The favorite in the Brekafast area is the "do it yourself" Belgian Waffles. We feel we have many items to offer for guests staying with us, along with complimentary coffee, tea and cappuccino available to all guests 24/7. We are not the average hotel breakfast or Contintental in any way. There are over 20 items available and we will continue to offer guests a great breakfast here at the Garden Place Hotel .

"ATTENTION TO DETAIL". These words describe one of the nicest stays I have ever experienced in any hotel anywhere. My expectations were to stay at a hotel comparable to a Holiday Inn or a Best Western. Boy were we surprised. Walk in to the lobby and stand in awe of the decor. Walk a few feet further and be amazed at the indoor courtyard, where we found out that a free breakfast is served daily (Hot and cold and delicious). The mirrors, glass work and chandeliers in all of the common areas (including bar) are breathtaking. This theme is carried right through to your very spacious guest room. The attention to detail is carried to the extreme into the room with things such as digital taps and an electronic 'do not disturb' sign. The excellent staff are very friendly and do pay"ATTENTION TO DETAIL" " AS IF THEIR JOBS DEPENDED ON IT" Thanks

My girlfriend and I decided to do a pre-Christmas cross-border shopping trip for a change of scenery. I Googled this hotel and the price was good. 30% off for mid-November. We had a blast!
The decor was Christmas was so elaborate, a feast for the eyes. The area for breakfast is beautiful and we enjoyed happy hour at the bar. The room was also very nice and comfortable. And then we went to the restaurant for dinner and were blown away by the Christmas decor. One employee told us it took volunteers 2 weeks to do it. I don't doubt it. The dinner we had was amazing and the staff very attentive. Very impressed by the wine list but we found it all to be very overpriced. $18 for a half bottle that sells for $8 for a full one in the store.
We will certainly go back just the same.
