“This should be number one in White Plains”

This is the finest Italian Restaurant anywhere in sight of White Plains. Truly correct and delicious. Pricey, but you get what you pay for and here you get great service and great food.

“My Neighborhood Favorite”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2012

I've enjoyed La Bocca for about 3 years now. Located in the center of White Plains (but somewhat tucked away), it is easy to get there after having run errands, or coming from the train station. Reservations may be made, but I've never found that to be a problem if you don't have one, and it is a pretty welcoming, laid back atmosphere -- but always attentive and professional.

La Bocca presents a solid menu, and I love the seasonal changes they make to their menu. They stick to the traditional Italian dishes and make them quite well, while offering a number of creative selections to choose, too. My favorite dish is their gnocchi with the pears.

“A real Italian restaurant in the heart of White Plains, NY”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2012

Here's a small restaurant that has a very warm and inviting atmosphere. It is a welcoming location right in the center of White Plains. Tony Spiritoso the owner is always available to help you with your choices and quick to out something extra on your table for a little taste sampling. The food is always Italian original and not some Americanized evolution of an old Italian dish. If "Chicken Scarpariello" is not served on the bone, than that is a sure fire sign of a diluted recipe but not here I assure you. Pasta is cooked "al dente" or to your request. Their meats are prime as is their service. During the week it's nice and quiet and though their bar is not long, you can always find room to sit for a nice drink after work. This is not a huge restaurant, and that's what makes it magic, as you will feel special by their personal attention. It's great for couples, family a business lunch...or even alone.Try it and say to Tony!

“Best and most authentic Italian food around!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2012

Have been here a few times and it is still one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the US. It is authentic as I have been to Italy - the bread, antipasto, homemade pastas and unique dishes. Tony is social and brings you fresh antipasto which are generous servings. This is one of few places you can find fresh burrata which is partly why I come - amazing and flown in from Italia daily. The roasted peppers, prosciutto and tapenade are all awesome. I would highly recommend coming if in the area. I had tortellini with a cream sauce peas and pancetta which was great. Service was also excellent.

Great food, cozy ambiance. Paninis not great but all other food excellent. Great place for lunch & dinner. Parking can be a drag.
